Malaysia script history with title, Nepal’s dream shattered

Nepal finished runner-up for the second consecutive times of the tournament after the hosts Malaysia routed Nepal by one wicket in the dramatic final of the tournament. With this victory over well-known opponent, Malaysia also avenged their group stage defeat at the hands of 2010 edition runner-up Nepal. Nepal have a solid chance of lifting their maiden ACC U-16 Elite Cup trophy on Sunday as Nepal will take on their well-known opponent Malaysia in the final to be held at the Kinrara Oval Ground of Kula Lumpur, Malaysia. Nepal outclassed the defending champions Singapore in the semifinals of the ongoing ACC U-16 Elite Cup being held in Malaysia on Friday. Nepal registered a spectacular 101 runs win over Singapore at the Bayuemas Oval Ground and entered into the finals of the ACC U-16 Elite Cup for the second time in a row. The first edition runner-up Nepal and the defending champions Singapore will meet on Friday in semifinals of the ongoing ACC U-16 Elite Cup being held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
